Flis Pask
Acupuncturist
Certified Classical Acupuncturist, Member of Chinese Medicine Council NZ, ACC Registered, Certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor (Polestar), ITEC Certification Reflexology (UK)
Flis began her journey in health and movement in the UK. After becoming disillusioned with a decade-long career in investment banking, she transitioned into the exercise and wellness industry. With a holistic approach to health, she has gained qualifications in Reflexology, Pilates, Myofascial Release (MFR) and Classical Acupuncture.
Her first introduction to acupuncture came in a London NHS hospital, where it was offered as an option to support a difficult birth before moving to more invasive interventions such as forceps or an epidural. The treatment was successful, and she was able to deliver her baby without intervention. This experience profoundly shaped her understanding and respect for acupuncture. It made her realise that acupuncture was a powerful and viable healing modality to utilise when managing her health and wellbeing.
Determined to pursue this path further, Flis undertook formal study with one of the few international schools specialising in Classical Acupuncture, based in France, and graduated in 2023. Since then, Flis has done an internship in Hanoi, Vietnam, working in a Traditional Hospital practicing acupuncture in a collaborative environment alongside Western Medicine.
Practiced for over 2000 years, Classical acupuncture addresses the physical, emotional and psychological state of the patient. Flis will develop a unique treatment for you addressing the root cause, not just the symptoms. Acupuncture works to regulate the nervous system, reduce stress responses and release endorphins, helping the body move into deep restorative healing.
Flis’ approach combines modern clinical practice with traditional Chinese medicine, providing treatments that are individualised, effective, and grounded in real outcomes.
