After five years of full-time study Emma graduated from Southern Cross university in 2017, with a Masters of Osteopathic Medicine. She has since worked in multiple clinics across Australia further developing her clinical experience and passion for osteopathy. In search of a new adventure, she moved to Wellington in 2023 to join the amazing team at City Osteopaths. 
 
Emma is passionate about helping people attain relief from pain and optimal health. She aims to achieve this through her understanding and implementation of osteopathic principles and philosophies. Emma recognises the importance of tailoring treatment approaches to an individual’s complaint, circumstances, and goals. She utilises a range of both structural and gentle techniques to help restore optimal conditions in the body to promote healing and assist in pain reduction. In conjunction to manual therapy, she aims to educate and empower patients to understand and manage their presenting complaints. Emma has a diploma in rehabilitation Pilates teaching which she uses to promote movement and incorporate exercises into management plans.
 
Emma enjoys treating a wide range of people and complaints of any nature. She is currently completing a postgrad masters in chronic pain management through Sydney Uni and has a particular interest in assisting people in chronic pain. 
 
In her free time you will find Emma exploring new places, outside in nature or practising what she preaches at a Pilates class.
