How We Work as a Team
A straight forward acute neck pain or acute back pain problem can easily be sorted by our registered osteopaths in a couple of visits. However if it is long standing or more complex and has become chronic, it may require our multidisciplinary approach to sort it out more quickly and thoroughly.
The following conditions have been helped by our team work approach:
- Long standing/chronic back pain (Osteopathy/Acupuncture/Massage Therapy)
- Sciatica or leg pain which refers into the buttock, or to the knee or right down to the foot (Osteopathy/Acupuncture/Massage Therapy)
- Neck or shoulder pain which refers to the arm or hand (Osteopathy/Acupuncture/Massage Therapy)
- Frozen Shoulder or Adhesive Capsulitis (Osteopathy/Acupuncture/Massage Therapy)
- Headaches and or jaw pain (TMJ) (Osteopathy/Acupuncture/Massage Therapy/Hyperbaric)
- Digestive complaints that may have an emotional component (Osteopathy/Naturopathy/Acupuncture)
- Fertility issues (Naturopathy/Acupuncture/Osteopathy/Hyperbaric)
- Pregnancy discomfort and preparation for labour (Osteopathy/Acupuncture/Naturopathy/Medical Herbalism)
- Exhaustion/fatigue/anxiety (Naturopathy/Medical Herbalism/Acupuncture/Hyperbaric)
Just ask your practitioner if your condition would be helped more quickly by seeing another complementary practitioner as well. We find that in complex situations it is a case of one plus one equalling three in terms of the improvement in response.
We have regular meetings to help resolve more complex cases and all our osteopaths and acupuncturists have centralised medical notes so if your practitioner is away you can see another osteopath or acupuncturist and still have continuity of care.
If you are not sure where to start, then give our experienced front desk staff a call, they can help guide you or one of our practitioners will call you back.
